Day 23
Hmmmm, I'm not sure what to go for themewise, so I am going to post a couple of pics, and then see what I get tomorrow, and then decide.
My options are rainbow theme, a colour a day.
Red today:
On the way to Shinto Temple |
My favourite warning on the Tokyo Subway |
Or I could just go for a pure rainbow theme!

Day 20
It's a hanging basket of what looks like cabbage.
We went to Disneyland Tokyo today, which is an odd combination of disney overload, and Japanese oddities!

Day 13
Reminds me of childhood:
Part of my teddy bear collection. The giant bunny was given to me by my grandad one Easter. The red dolls are all variations of my beloved Annie. Annie herself is in bits (basically she is just a head with some rags hanging out of it). The other dolls got called Ann and Anna and other such variations. And my Jonathon. I got him for Christmas one year from an aunt of my dads. My mum hadn't seen the present hand over and was convinced I was lying when I told her it was mine.

Day 12
Reminds me of childhood: School! Though I have to say classrooms have gotten a lot more colourful now than what I remember. (One of my classrooms in secondary school was actually painted grey and sick yellow)

Day 10
Reminds me of childhood: A random collection of toys and stuff that are sitting on top of the bookshelf in my bedroom. Included are the creepy porcelain dolls, my National Irish Bank savings parrot, a 1998 cube calendar with pictures of Ireland, and most importantly, an assortment of Happy Meal toys - Mc Donald's was a rare treat, and if we got the chance we would pick Burger King - the toys in their kids meals were definitely better.

Day 9
Reminds me of childhood: The view from my bedroom window in my parents house, along with a stained glass clown that has been there for years. Our old minder gave him to me, but I don't remember where he came from.

Day 8
Reminds me of childhood. Remember when any amount of snow, even the lightest sprinkling was enough to get us so excited.

Day 6
Resolution: I will not loose images to cyber space. I took a picture this morning, somehow with no memory card in the camera. And now its gone!
Its Eileen's fault. The girl is tiny, and no one believes how much she eats. I had photographic evidence of her breakfast, and it has disappeared. Its all a conspiracy. (For anyone who is interested her breakfast consisted of a chicken and stuffing roll, two little tins of Pringles, a packet of treble crunch, 5 sausage rolls - only cos they were 5 for a euro, chocolate milk and a packet of little sweets that I can't remember what they are called. Think thats it.)
Only yesterday I discussed taking a stock of photos with Monica. I was against it. Not so much now. So here is a pic I took yesterday (though I have to say her pic of me is better. She managed to get a picture of my flash!)

Day 3
Resolutions: I will be on time!! I'm sorry to say that aside from when I go to work, I am nearly always late. This year I'm going to make the effort to be on time, instead of arriving in a fluster.

Day 2
Resolution: Not to have a similar figure (or hair) to the troll, and to break my love affair with chocolate.
